My name is taylor chavez
Friends, I’ve been shooting photos since the moment I could recognize the sound of a shutter on my first disposable. As a professional, I’ve been dedicated to this craft since 2011. My first wedding in 2014 taught me so much about the complexity of each moment, and I’ve never stopped learning. Most importantly, over the years, I’ve fallen in love over and over again with every glimpse into the lives we’ve lived.
These moments, they only happen once. I realized this anew when my husband and I got married in 2021. Our photographer captured seconds in time I would have already forgotten, perfect memories with family members who have since passed on.
As a daughter of Christ and avid believer in the intentionality of our Father, I am reminded every year how truly meaningful this career is.

My philosophy will always remain grounded in you;
In 2018, I took the leap into pursuing my portraiture as my full time career. My husband inspired me, reminding me that anything I felt so deeply passionate about was worth taking a chance on. He was absolutely correct. Since that day, I have never looked back; always pushing forward, telling your story ever more creatively.
Many of my childhood memories stem from a polaroid photo or camcorder snippet.
I'm here to help you archive the present for their future.

Meet 'Potato' Chavez!
Tate is our goodest girl. A 5 year old husky, collie, lab, aussie mix who has energy for miles. I adopted her a few short months after going full time as a wedding photographer and she has been there through the highs and lows.
I thought it would be funny to name her potato because of how cute she was as a puppy, but she goes by tate for short with all her closets buddies!
